Backend developer

Details

Selected in a web team as a backend developer to work on the annual sports festival of the university called Petrocup.

Engineered an optimal database schema by using MySQL and Firebase, to create a live score system to show the scoreboard of ongoing matches on the website using the JavaScript and Firebase.

Used PHP and MySQL to create backend APIs for events and accommodation registration, and user authentication. Created a separate admin portal to manage the registrations and export various reports in CSV format.

I was also responsible for the API integration with the frontend and deployment of the website using the cPanel.
