Web Head

In the academic year 2020-21, I was appointed as a Web Head where I was supposed to deal with the clubs and committees of PDEU and carry out the development of their websites. In the same year, I was also appointed as a Web Head at the Science and Technical Committee and the Sports Committee.

With the interview process, we selected a group of students with an amazing skillset and hired them on the web team. My responsibility was to delegate tasks and coordinate with them, review and integrate their code. With the support of the web team, we managed to launch 5 websites within 8 months.

We built the websites for the Social and Cultural Committee, Tesseract - The annual tech-fest of PDEU, ICCMDP - A conference held in PDEU, The official website of Encode itself, and the website of the Sports Committee, using the technologies like HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, PHP, MySQL and Firebase.

I planned and organized an event called Logic Hunt on the website of Encode where participants were supposed to find the answer to a question and use that answer as a hint to solve another, kind of virtual treasure hunt. For this website, we developed a whole quiz module with a live scoreboard.
